Not recommendable
Positive: The accommodation was in a good location, quite close to the city center, with a very nice view of the harbor from the balcony.
Negative: For almost €200 a night, we expected more from the apartment. The furnishings are quite dated; the sofa was covered with a blanket because it looked quite worn underneath. The apartment's entrance door could be pushed open without any problem, so we always had to lock it. It didn't give us a feeling of security, as the house's entrance door was always left open, allowing anyone to enter. The windows and doors were leaky, and the wind whistled through. Electrical outlets weren't properly installed and fell out. Not great with children. The really annoying part is yet to come. The apartment is managed by Manolis Sofikitis, like many other apartments and houses on Skopelos, who handles all communication through Booking.com. The owner, however, is Rania, who lives in the same building where the apartment is located. We had the problem that the approximately 20-year-old air conditioning unit in the living area had stopped working during our stay. With our baby, we were dependent on the apartment being kept cool during the Greek summer. After reporting the problem to Rania, she arranged for a new one after some minor discussion. Only after we asked did we find out when the technicians were due. She estimated the work would take an hour. The air conditioning broke down on Sunday evening, and the technicians arrived on Tuesday morning. The hour turned into half a day because several holes had to be drilled through the wall. The technicians asked us to leave the apartment because it would be too loud for the baby. Not ideal with children, either. Our requests for a discount for the additional stress and effort were vehemently rejected. They said they had done everything possible. We should be happy that the air conditioning was replaced. Claims were made that we broke it. Manolis and Rania's constant arguments got on our last nerves and ruined our vacation.

Positive: Beautiful apartment in an amazing location 😍
Spacious rooms with gorgeous views. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen with some freebies ( nice touch especially when you arrive late or on Sunday like we did)
Bathroom with a good size shower and hot water. Fresh towels and sheets every 3 days.
Host Rania is very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with hot water, within 30 min everything was fixed.
Thank you for such a lovely experience.❤️

Lovely place. Shame about the summary eviction
Positive: Apart from patchy wifi and a summary eviction with no refund.for one of us, this apartment has stunning sea views of Skopelos town and has a good location. It's roomy, clean, exceptionally comfortable, with lots of couches and chairs, a great balcony, and is flooded with light. The master bedroom is really beautiful, big, and has an exceptional bed. The second bedroom is fine. The cupboards and fridge are generously stocked with jams, coffee pods, biscuits and other goodies. There is a plentiful supply of crockery and cutlery. Even the washing machine is supplied with an abundance of washing detergent. There is a linen cupboard with extra towels and toilet paper. Wonderful.
Negative: The wifi is at times drops in and out. It didn't work at all in the smaller bedroom. However, stormy weather may have been the cause.
We were asked to leave, on-the-spot - late at night - three hours after the landlady had cheerily welcomed us and our little dog, shown us into the apartment and given us the key. She then rang her unfortunate property manager and asked him to evict us. Immediately. At 9.30 at night.
I had arrived with my sausage dog believing I had an exception to the no pet rule which I had asked for when booking. But a mutual miscommunication between the property manager and me meant this was not the case. Despite my apologies, offer to pay more money and a large security deposit, and the property manager lobbying hard for middle ground, the landlady would not budge. She insisted we leave. Worst, she refused any refund at all, even partial, for the nine nights we had paid for of €850 +. We salvaged the situation by one of us moving out with the dog to a hotel for nine days, at considerable extra expense.
Booking.com was not impressed with the landlady's rigid and uncompromising behaviour. They issued us an apology, "for the inconvenience which had been caused" and gave us credit for a night's accommodation, which we hadn't even asked for.
So if you carry out all house rules to the letter, and do not expect refunds, or any compromise if you make a mistake o a dispute arises, then we thoroughly recommend this apartment.
